Steffen Kretz

Steffen Kretz has traveled to more than 100 countries as a journalist and lived abroad for ten years as a correspondent in the United States and the Middle East. He has met and interviewed a vast array of world leaders, from Libya’s dictator Muammar Gaddafi to the Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama, presidents from both the United States and Russia, business icons such as Elon Musk and Bill Gates, and many others. He has covered wars and conflicts in the Middle East and Africa, climate change from the Arctic to the Amazon, and virtually all major events that have shaped our world over the past many years. Along the way, he has crossed the thresholds of people on every continent to ask questions that even those closest to them dared not ask—probing, testing, or simply curious. All of this in order to make us Danes wiser about the world around us.
