DQ sings songs from his CD, so that not an eye is dry. It is a super mix of his own songs combined with some amazing versions of the good old disco classics. It is all served in a fireworks display of feathers, colors and absolutely incredible costumes. The biggest & probably the best seen in Northern Europe.
Peter Andersen DQ's album has been released in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands as well as in the East & Australia. DQ performs live with his unique show all over Europe. Peter Andersen (alias DQ), born 1972 in Køge, is something so unique as a Danish drag queen and singer of international stature.
Winner of
Danish Melodi Grand Prix 2007 under the stage name DQ (short for Drama Queen) Peter Andersen started doing drag shows in 2001 with Thomas Bickham under the stage name "POP Stars" produced by Dansk Showbooking.
The collaboration resulted in 75 exclusive concerts, one of the big moments being when the French telecommunications company Orange in Paris proclaimed that 371 employees out of 800 present had had their greatest show experience ever. Peter Andersen alias DQ started with the band “Tina Turner Jam” also with Dansk Showbooking as management.
